Barnards Trike Day

May 03 2020

CANCELLED

The Club’s 2020 opening event is the fifth Trike/Quad  day at Barnards Farm. The essentials are:

  • A practice session
  • A qualifying time session
  • A track session
  • As last year we’ll be running a relay race in which Trikes and Quads can take part
  • A race for entrants new to the Barnards Track

All Trikes/Quads will be scrutinised. Crash helmets are obligatory.

The central grit course is a shapely oval of 287 meters.

Overtaking will be at your leisure and the racing is over 4 laps which is 1 kilometer. The starts will be standing starts by push, pedal or engine running.

An IOPD racing license is mandatory issued on the day. Club membership is also required for participants. You can join on the day by form or smart phone.

The gardens will be open and with luck the Malus (Crab Apple) blossom should be in full swing.

Arrive at any time after 09.00 on the day. A compulsory briefing will be held for Riders, Marshalls, Mechanics and Photographers at 10:00 and the course will be open for practice from 10.15. Qualifying will start at 10.45 and the first track event will be at 11:15.

Tea and Coffee will be available on arrival and lunch will be served in the Barn. In case of the weather being unkind there is plenty of cover within the circuit.

Please pre register and pay at www.barnardsfarm.eu

There is ample parking for trailers.
