Invitation to the Club’s Annual Dinner
Friday 4th November
The Chesterfield Hotel, Mayfair.
Applications to purchase tickets for the club’s annual dinner are now open, and I am pleased to announce the Application Form and the ALL NEW Menu.
We had previously been able to hold the price at £49 for over 10 years, a notable feat. At say 2.5% compound that equates to c £65 today. But rather than go with the same style of banqueting menu at that price, I have agreed, after some negotiation, with the Chesterfield Hotel to upgrade the menu to the PRIVATE DINING menu, which gives us a much improved offer. Their normal charge for this is £75 plus 12.5% service charge. The special price for DDBUK members and guests is £69 inclusive. Whilst this is higher than we have paid in the past, I am confident that it represents exceptional value and will be very enjoyable. As usual the club will subsidise the evening by paying for the Royal Suite and the pre-dinner wine reception.
This event is the club’s social highlight of the year and is an opportunity to meet up with our friends from all over UK and around the world. Indeed we have hosted members from Australia, New Zealand, USA, and all over Europe.
